Montenegrin House
A traditional home that refuses to stand still.
01 · About the Project
Many ethnographic museums have abandoned the reconstructed period interior because it feels frozen in time. We reimagined it instead. This room recreates the interior of a traditional Montenegrin house with its classic furnishings, then brings it to life through multimedia: projected shadows of its inhabitants, the sound of the gusle, music, children's voices, perhaps even the scent of coffee. Reconstructed three-legged stools invite visitors to sit down, become part of the scene and take a photograph.
For clients who want heirlooms and regional heritage to live in their homes rather than sit behind glass, this is our approach: atmosphere first, authenticity always.
